Fourth EcoVadis Gold Confirms Zumtobel Group’s Sustainability Performance

Zumtobel Group has been awarded an EcoVadis gold medal For the fourth time in a row

The independent platform for sustainability ratings assesses the performances of companies in the categories of Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Sustainable Procurement and Ethics. The rating is based on international sustainability standards including the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact and ISO 26000. 
The evaluation by the independent sustainability platform covers the Zumtobel Group headquarters in Dornbirn as well as all other locations worldwide - including Thorn. This award places the Zumtobel Group in the top 1% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis (over 150,000 from more than 180 countries).
This fourth win for Thorn and the wider Zumtobel Group confirms out continued commitment to a sustainable future. 

In this year's evaluation by EcoVadis, the Zumtobel Group scored additional points in the areas of ethics as well as labour and human rights. This improvement was achieved through various measures, such as the launch of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategy and continuous optimisation of processes in the area of information security. Regarding its carbon management level, the Zumtobel Group was rated as a ‘leader’ by EcoVadis, confirming the company's Net-Zero target and emission reduction measures.
